This update to TCGBuddy is mainly a usability improvement update. Thanks goes out to Mark from NY, who left a few feature requests using the Feedback tab to the left. I’ve just submitted it to the App Store, so it should hopefully be out in a few days time. Read on for details on what the update does…
Previously when tracking games and matches with TCGBuddy, when a match finished you had to tap Game Win to record the result from a game, then End Match to save it to your history. With this update, you can now set the Match length in preferences to set your match to be a single game, Best 2 of 3, Best 3 of 5, Best 4 of 7 or just a casual match. A casual match will need to be stopped manually as before. For all the rest of the settings, you will get an automatic End Match prompt when a player has won enough games.
Other changes:
- updated splash screen to say ‘loading…’
- changed ‘game win’ text to say ‘I won’ ‘I lost’ ‘draw’
- renamed Timer to Round Timer and updated it a little
As always, if you have any feature requests or feedback, please use the Feedback tab to the left, or email me using the link below.
